Brandon T. Jennings, PharmD, BCACP
Founder, President & CEO, Leader Coach, Pioneer/Creative
Dr. Brandon T. Jennings is the Founder, President and CEO of Abilyn Consulting, LLC. In this role, Dr. Jennings collaborates with organizations to build stronger teams, improve operational efficiencies, and establish realistic strategic goals.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Jennings was the Executive Director of the Dr. Terry Sinclair Health Clinic in Winchester, Virginia. At this Free and Charitable Clinic, he was responsible for obtaining resources to enable the health care team to provide the highest level of patient care possible to a population who otherwise would not receive care. This was accomplished through creative solutions to complex health care problems while maximizing resources that often did not meet the tremendous need for care in the community.
Dr. Jennings has spent over 15 years in the pharmacy education and health care environments. Serving as a clinical faculty member at both the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy, Dr. Jennings helped to establish collaborative relationships between community partners and the University. He also assisted these organizations by fostering improved health outcomes, developing sustainable team-based models of care, and by training the next generation of practitioners to practice in these environments.
During his time in academia, Dr. Jennings discovered the GiANT Worldwide Leadership Program, a model designed to improve team dynamics by growing participants in self-awareness and emotional maturity. Inspired by this content, Dr. Jennings received the training necessary to teach this curriculum and established Abilyn Consulting, a business built upon the belief that, with the right tools, anyone can reach their full potential as a leader – in and out of the workplace. Now, Dr. Jennings shares these tools with teams across the country, empowering professionals and unlocking their true potential as team leaders.
Dr. Jennings received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 2006 and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency with Emphasis in Community Care at the same institution in partnership with Kmart Pharmacy in 2007. He has collaborated on 11 peer-reviewed articles and has received numerous awards in his career including the Utah Pharmacist of the Year, the Upsher-Smith / National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations Excellence in Innovation, and Professor of the Year at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Jennings has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics since 2019 and current serves as the Board's Vice-Chairperson. He has also served Phi Lambda Sigma, the Pharmacy Leadership Society, in various roles since 2013, including their current Executive Director.
